Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RagaGuru (the "Service"), operated by LOVEUAD LTD (Company No. 16838046), a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

RagaGuru is a web-based Indian classical music practice tool. It uses your microphone to detect the pitch of what you sing or play, and gives you visual feedback against target notes. A free tier is available with limited content; a paid Pro tier (£14.99/month) unlocks the full library.

2. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email and password to create a Pro account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should have parental permission.
• You may delete your account at any time from your account page. Deletion is permanent and cancels any active subscription.

3. Pro Subscription and Payment

• Pro is £14.99 per month (GBP), billed automatically on the same date each month via Stripe.
• Your subscription auto-renews until you cancel it.
• You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Pro access until then, and you will not be billed again.
• We do not store your card details. All payments are handled by Stripe.

4. Refunds and Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

Because the Service is digital content delivered immediately on subscription, by subscribing you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day statutory right to cancel for a refund the moment your subscription becomes active.

You may still cancel future billing at any time from your account page. If you believe you were billed in error, contact us at the email below and we will review your case in good faith.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Copy, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service;
• Share your account credentials with others;
• Use the Service to violate any law.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

The interface, code, curated lesson data, and Sa-Re-Ga notation content are © LOVEUAD LTD. The underlying ragas and traditional compositions are part of a living cultural tradition and are not our property; we present our own notation and lesson structures for practice.

7. Microphone and Audio

The Service requires microphone access to work. Audio is processed in your browser in real time and is not recorded, uploaded, or stored on our servers unless you explicitly use a "save recording" feature. See our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, update features, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LOVEUAD LTD is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us in that period.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or attempt fraud. If we terminate your account for cause, no refund is owed.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have.
